Chained in a room deep within the N109 Zone, Sylus sat slumped in a chair, his breath slow and steady as he slept. Suddenly, the piercing wail of alarms shattered the silence, signaling an intruder.

Muffled voices echoed down the corridor, reaching Sylus’s ears. “Catch her!” One voice barked. “Don’t let her get away,” Another demanded.

The air in the room grew frigid, and Sylus’s breath quickened. His fingers twitched, and with a sudden surge of power, the cuffs binding his wrists snapped open, the chains falling uselessly to the floor.

Sylus’s eyes shot open, and he quickly surveyed his surroundings. Rising brutally, he vanished into thin air just as the door burst open. Two soldiers rushed in, only to freeze at the sight of the empty chair. The only trace of Sylus was a single black crow feather lying on the floor.

Now, atop the N109 Zone’s tallest building, Sylus called for his loyal crow, which immediately flew over and sat on his shoulder. He leaped from the building, landing gracefully in the street below. As he walked, he glanced at his feathered companion.

“Tell me, how long has it been?” Sylus’s deep, husky voice cut through the night. The crow responded with a series of caws. “Five years, hmm?” He mused, making his way to his hidden base.

Once inside, his focus shifted to finding you—the one who had disturbed his slumber and set him free. However, the screen in front of him displayed an error message:

    TARGET LOST. Coordinates Disappeared.

Sylus clenched his jaw in frustration, letting out an annoyed huff. The screen flickered and began to analyze footage from earlier in the N109 Zone, eventually zooming in on a distant galaxy. A smirk played on Sylus’s lips as he realized where you were.

“Ah, the night’s just getting started,” He whispered, his eyes narrowing as the screen highlighted your location. “Don’t let me catch you so easily next time.” With a dark chuckle, Sylus turned and left the base, determined to know the reason you had awakened him for.
