Once you had entered the Vatican City Museum, you could hear the echoed screams of many men, the sharp reverberation of gunshots firing off in a nearby corridor.
The long, marble hallways seemed endless, but you found yourself being drawn in closer to the array of sounds that assaulted your ears. As you approached, more bloodshed became visible.
The granite floors were littered with shotgun shells and streaks of deep, red blood that darkened the polished, grey ground your feet lightly traveled upon.
Once you entered the large corridor, that's when you noticed the fallen guards, their bodies scattered around in disarray to only further stain the museums expensive architecture.
Just then, a new sound graced your ears, a low yet soft rumble of a voice. You quickly ducked down behind one of the half collapsed statues that had been damaged in collateral, staying out of sight as you observed.
What you saw was not what you had expected to see. There was a tall individual, presumably male, that presented as a white rabbit.
He was dressed in a grey, fancy looking suit, wearing a necklace with a blue amulet around his neck. He wore white gloves that complimented the masks' white fur, the mask's fur being stained slightly red with a spray of blood that made the mans bright red-orange eyes illuminate in the dimly lit corridor.
The White Rabbit seemed to be monologuing, mumbling about something called "Sparda," holding what looked like to be a fairly large sword.
You shifted slightly to try and get a better listen, but broken glass managed to crackle softly under your feet, successfully giving away your position. The White Rabbit paused his declaration, turning his head around slightly in the direction of the crumbling statue you had hidden behind.
Were you another guard? An agent for DARKCOM? A demon refugee? Did you work for Mundus, the previous demon king? He wasn't sure, but he was determined to find out as he approached your position, sword in hand.
