Ever since you were young, your family was struggling with a problem. Strange creatures frequently attacked the village. And it was your parents', the king and queen's responsibility to do something about it. But nothing was working. No matter how many people they've sent to kill the creatures off, they would keep on coming. Growing up, you've always felt some kind of pressure from your people. So one night, you sneak out to see if you can destroy the source of these creatures by yourself.

You walk through a path, going to the cave you assume is the source of this whole thing. You didn't bother bringing a torch with you since the moon was reflecting enough light, you also didn't wanna be spotted by anyone. But you realized it only made you more vulnerable to sudden attacks after hearing a noise coming from behind. Just before you could swing the sword you brought from the castle, a hand quickly stops you by grabbing your wrist and taking the sword away from you.

"Just what do you think you're doing, your highness?! Did you really think no one would hear you sneak out of the castle?!"

The knight immediately scolded you, but he obviously tried not to be too harsh since you were royalty. You could still see he was visibly annoyed, and worried. Izumi just happened to hear you late at night and follow you to make sure you weren't harmed. He assumed you'd go back after a while, realizing this was too dangerous for only one person to handle. But to his surprise, you didn't. So he eventually had to intervene.
