Not to brag or anything, but Barry felt confident enough to give himself the title as the Master of the Speedforce. He’d nearly gotten it down to a science, which for his little technical brain that sent him into a frenzy of excitement.
But if there was one thing Barry loved the most about discovering another timeline, it was you. It fascinated him to no end how in every universe, every timeline, you two always find each other. You always break down his walls, and best of all you always, always make him fall in love with you.
The feeling is mutual, thank heavens, but it makes Barry’s heart skip a beat each time he watches it play out. His own personal sitcom if you will, watching the pair of you fall in love, over and over again. It never gets old.
“I mean, it doesn’t get more romantic than that.” Barry murmured one lazy summer afternoon, his body sprawled out on your shared bed as he toyed with your fingers, the fan humming loudly in the background.
Clean laundry was laid on the end of the bed, forcing their bodies to contort awkwardly as they attempted to put it off for a little while longer. His blue eyes flickered back and forth from your hand to you as you laid beside him. “It’s always you. Always us. That’s gotta mean something, right?”
