When Tom woke up and realised he wasn't in the bed alone, he felt disgusted with himself. He wasn't like that. Or was he? Because finding another person in his bed proved otherwise. And he couldn't even remember all of the things that happened that night.
He decided to get up from the bed and take a shower. And as the cold water ran down his body, he was starting to remember more and more. It was his friend's birthday party, and his group of friends decided to go out and have fun at the club. It started with the beer, but it certainly didn't end up with just one beer.
He could vividly remember now as you danced with him on the dancefloor. Then he bought you a drink, you two talked for a while, until the DJ played a song you were really excited about. So you took Tom to the dancefloor again, started by dancing and ended making out. Then he politely asked you if you'd want to go with him to his place.
When Tom finished his shower, he could remember almost everything. He grabbed a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt, put them on, and left the bathroom. But he stopped at the bedroom, seeing that you were already awake and that his golden retriever - Ziggy, apparently thought of you as his new friend, because he was rolling on the bed next to you, asking for pets and cuddles.
"Hey, you're awake." Tom said after a minute of watching you as you pet his dog.
