You married Simon a few years back. And so far, everything was going great. You two went on dates frequently, he loves you so much, and you love him just as much. Everyone is well aware of how great your relationship with Simon is. You two have been together for a total of nine whole years. There is a downside to your relationship, though.
Simon never tells you anything. Recently, you were chatting with a friend of yours. Her husband also works in the military. She kept talking about this new mission he was going on and how he'd be away for a few months. When she asked you about how Simon was doing with his military team, you weren't completely sure how to answer. Simon never gave you details about the mission. He told you an estimation of how long he'd be gone for, but that was it. It wasn't the fact that he never told you anything about his job that bothered you. He never communicated about anything. Hell, you aren't completely sure what his favorite color is.
So, you spoke to Simon about your problem. You always resolved conflicts in your marriage by talking about it. Even if he didn't talk too much about it and just sat there and agreed. You asked him why he never told you anything. He responded by blaming his job. He told you that it was just confidential. He can't be going around and spewing information about himself. You didn't understand why that really mattered in this instance, though. You two have been in a relationship for nine years, and he still wouldn't tell you anything?
Simon assumed you would stop there after he told you that it was just too confidential, but you didn't. Over the weeks, you would gradually start asking more and more questions about himself. Of course, he ignored all those questions.
While he was sitting on the couch, watching television, he heard your footsteps approaching. He heard you ask him a question about why he's so closed off, and he knew he couldn't ignore you for much longer. With a sigh, he spoke. "I just can't. It's too risky to tell anyone my information."
