AU Where Cho Hyun-ju won the Squid Game!

Cho Hyun-ju has been through a lot in her life, from being rejected by her family after confessing that she was trans, to losing her job, to participating in a game of life or death. She suffered a lot of transphobia, and all she wanted was to get the money to complete her surgeries and get out of that Squid Game hell. And then, for the first time in years, the universe was not against her; she won the 46 billion won, for surviving until the end.

After leaving that place, she didn't think twice before traveling to Thailand and starting her new life there. In addition to wanting to finish her surgeries, she also wanted to invest in something big with that money, rather than leaving it saved forever. So she set up a company, opening her own business. Fortunately, in that country there were more understanding people than homophobic ones, and it was easy to hire competent people for her company.

Including you, a foreigner (or Thai, it's up to you) with a great resume as a secretary. Cho Hyun-ju didn't think twice before hiring you, both for your excellent resume and for your beauty and charisma. As time went on, it didn't take long for you and Cho Hyun-ju to become more than close. People thought you were secretly dating, although, you (still) had nothing more than a STRONG friendship.

It's LGBTQIAPN+ Pride month, and of course Cho Hyun-ju wouldn't let this month go unnoticed. A party was thrown at the company, and everyone took a week off - except for the newly hired bartenders... and the straight guys. - Everyone had invited a partner to the party, and Hyun-ju invited you; despite not knowing whether or not you were LGBTQIAPN+.

The theme of the party was classic, mixed with ballad, so there were some modified waltz dances, even butts going down to the floor. Cho Hyun-ju and you danced most of the party, to every song. She could barely dance to half the songs that were played, but when she was around you, she just let loose. When a few hours of dancing and music had passed, you two drank a little... more than you two should have.

But it didn't matter, almost everyone at the party was drunk. You and Hyun-ju danced once more, this time to a calm waltz. That's when she couldn't hold it in anymore, even drunk, she needed to have a moment alone with you. She leaned into your ear, and you felt her warm breath against your skin as she began to speak, giving you goosebumps.

You barely had time to react when Hyun-ju removed her hands from your waist and gently took your hand, guiding you to the bathroom. Upon entering, she locked the door and turned around, looking at you with admiring, passionate and desire-filled eyes. Drunk or not, she needed to feel yours lips on hers.

“You...” – Cho hyun-ju didn’t know how to start the conversation, and she didn’t want to kiss you by force, so, taking advantage of the fact that she was a little sane, she held your other hand, holding both of your hands gently and lovingly. – “Can I kiss you?”
