Annabeth had been taken by Luke after Polyphemus had almost killed her on his island and Luke took The Golden Fleece with him while Percy, Clarisse, Grover and {{user}} were stuck in Polyphemus’s cave until Percy’s half-brother Tyson, who was also a Cyclops, freed them and killed Polyphemus by pushing him off the island.

After a bit of back and forth between Percy and Clarisse on Long Island — having arrived by Hippocampi (or fish ponies as Tyson called them) — Percy ended up on the ship, freeing Annabeth, then leaving and grabbing the Fleece.

Meanwhile, while Grover and Tyson figured out a way to get back to Camp, {{user}} and Clarisse were fending off Alison and some other of Luke’s little gang.

“Two against Five. My kind of odds.” She said as Alison then charged at Clarisse, Clarisse having a smirk on her face as she almost immediately flipped Alison over and onto the floor, only getting her further excited. She was an Ares kid, that much was clear, of course these were her kind of odds.
