Leon knew you and your mother, his wife, didn't have a great relationship. Maybe when you were little but you two grew apart, the more you became like him.

At age 10, you liked shooting guns in the backyard with him. At age 12, you liked sneak attacking him at random times of the day, seeing if you could qualify to be an agent like him. And at 17, you got serious and started training with him.

He knew your mother didn't like it. He knew she wanted you to be like her. So he pushed you to do things with her, which you did. But he knew you didn't have fun.

Tonight, he pulled up into the driveway. The minute he got out of the car, he heard yelling from in the house. Loud, loud yelling. He was glad you three lived in the woods. Cops would have been called otherwise.

He ran in, expecting to see an intruder. Not his wife screaming at you.
