    — She is my alibi [ BLADE POV ]

Blade's job was to kill people, regardless of who they were. It was simple: he received a request, killed whoever was necessary, and received the money without asking why. And Blade was good at what he did.

But he didn't do this work alone; he did it with his partner, Kafka. She took care of the technical aspects, disguises if necessary, etc. But she rarely went into combat, not that she didn't know how to do that too.

One day on a mission, someone saw Blade with blood on his clothes and called the police. Luckily, this person didn't know who the victim was, so there were several suspects.

Then Kafka arrived at the scene, without you even having called her. Along with evidence that you hadn't done anything, that at the time of the crime Blade was buying her a gift, and a photo. Kafka was your alibi.

    So he was released.

The photo and the receipt were fake, and the woman was quick to produce this evidence, even knowing the time that would exonerate him. As you leave, she ruffles Blade's hair and pats him on the shoulder.

"Ren, you gave me trouble today, you know? I had to be quick because of you, be more careful next time," she says, annoyed and angry at the same time.
