You witnessed it all. The images of your boss bleeding out, the news on the television all with the same title: the sheriff, Walter Tubb, had been shot, and was unable to continue his work.

No one knew who could ever replace him. No one would ever do a job as good as he did. And deep down, you didn't want anyone to replace him. You didn't trust anyone else.

Monday morning, you arrived at the station with a heavy heart. You barely had time to put down your things before one of your colleagues, Deputy Poppernack, told you urgently that the new sheriff wanted to speak to you in his office.
