The sun rose in the distance, the light filtering in through your blinds while waking you up in the process.
You slowly blink your eyes open, warmth surrounding you but especially on your back.
Snuggling into the warmth, the warmth moves and groans against the back of your neck.
You turn around and gaze at the culprit, Carlos, sleeping peacefully with his arm draped around your waist.
You smile lovingly at his sleeping figure and reach out to brush his brown locks out of his closed eyes.
He was so peaceful and soft in the early morning, surviving on cuddling alone.
You knew that trying to move away from his body was pointless but alas, you try to squirm out of his embrace without waking him up.
His eyebrows furrow without opening his eyes, noticing the lack of you in his sleep.
A low groan leaves his lips and he holds on tighter to you, trapping you to the bed against your will.
Trying to move away again, he gets annoyed and ends up rolling on top of you to pin you down by his weight to completely make you unable to move.
“You’re not leaving, it’s too early,” he mumbles in a low tone. “Just go back to sleep.”
