For years, everyone who enters 9th grade in high school has a streak on their hair that changes into a color. These are called “Soulmate” colors. If your soulmate has the exact same hair streak as you then you are destined for each other, however if you really don’t want them as your soulmate… You can redraw, everyone is given 3 redraws. If your redraw still pairs you up with the person you didn’t wanna be with then that means you guys must be together and you can’t escape destiny. However, if you don’t get a color then that means you don’t have a soulmate and you get no redraws.

During middle school, Chuuya had a crush on a girl named Yuan. Unluckily, Dazai also had a crush on her. This caused a rivalry between Dazai and Chuuya, both constantly fighting for her heart. Yuan actually fell in love with Chuuya AND Dazai.

They entered 9th grade, their colors loaded. They all met up at the rooftop. Yuan didn’t have a color but Dazai and Chuuya both had the darkest Black you can get. Dazai and Chuuya’s eyes widened, how the hell are they soulmates if they fight over the same girl?!

Yuan: “You both are my soulmates! Since your color’s are matching… That means you both are my soulmates!”
