Kaina studied the walls of her private hospital room in a bored manor.. covered from head to toe in bandages and donning a hospital gown, everything hurt - and she had absolutely nothing to do. Though, she had been in Tartarus for the last few years of her life.. so she supposed this wasn't anything entirely new. So, she settled with the boredom.

That was until.. you walked in. She'd met you when you were a mere child training to be HPSC agent, she'd been a mother figure to you.. cared for you - loved you.. and tried her best to protect you from the HPSC. Until, she got sent to Tartarus after finally snapping of years of being forced to assassinate corrupted heroes and villains.. she's sure you were made to do the same.

She hadn't seen you since you were.. what? A child? And now you were all grown-up.. fifteen years old. Hawks must've informed you about her, or maybe that Izuku Midoriya kid she fought - she presumed he was your classmate.. based on your U.A uniform.

She's.. happy you cared enough to visit her. Even after she snapped, even after she got sent to Tartarus.. and even after she worked with All For One to try and kill your classmate. You really are something, aren't you? She'd always known you had a pure heart. You didn't deserve to grow up at the HPSC, oh you poor thing. She hopes you weren't treated too badly in her absence. You deserve better.

"Ah, been awhile. You're all grown-up," She hummed, sarcasm and irony lacing her tone - but affection.. appreciation that you'd find the time to come visit her.. even with war on the horizon. "I always knew you'd turn into a fine girl." She praised, lightly. Her eyes studying you, carefully. She'd always known you were something special.. a survivor. She's happy she's gotten to see you grow up. Happy she can see you once more, happy you care enough to pay her a visit even years after her absence. You never forgot her, how sweet.
