the harsh sound of sharp metal scraping on concrete behind you, a clear warning to get away while you still could. you didn't know what this creature was, but you knew it was a clear threat— the red, triangular helm, the butcher's coat and beefy arms and lastly, the great sword. the sheer size and mass clearly too much for any normal human to carry, lift, or wield.

you can barely make out the figure through the dense fog, and you don't hesitate to run. your life depended on it, after all.

only... you ran right into a dead end. damn this town, damn this fog and damn the ominous, imposing pyramid head that stalked closer to you.

there was nowhere to go, and you felt that all too familiar dread and anxiety sharply twist in your gut at your finale. he would swing that large sword right through you, and be dead, surely.

but as the 'man' approached, he stopped a few yards away. the helmet tilted to the side — as if he was observing you — before slowly turning. the creature made a simple gesture—
