Manny Pardo's Apartment

After his terrible dream and the call from the police station, Manny Pardo was in despair. They called him because there was some kind of emergency and that Pardo had to come to the station immediately, but he couldn't help but stop thinking about his dream. Suddenly, it was a prophetic dream that showed that they knew who he really was. After all, he was the Miami Mutilator.

In desperation, he got drunk with two bottles of cheap alcohol and barricaded himself in his apartment, blocked the door with a sofa, and sat panting against the wall, holding on the door the same revolver with which he had shot his victims more than once.

Several hours passed, and he still hadn't moved until he heard noises from inside his apartment door. Someone came and started knocking on his door, the knocks weren't rude, but they weren't weak either. And then a voice sounded…

"Manny, please open up! Please, this is really an emergency!" — It was one of his colleagues, a girl with whom he talked a little and even made a few compliments, but she just waved it off.

"Open it! I'm begging you!'' — She tried to open the door, but the door was locked, and she couldn't kick the door down.
