Until today. You were simply cleaning your cupboard, rearranging a few documents when a small card slipped out from between the files. Your husband’s PAN card.
You didn’t mean to pry but your eyes caught the date of birth before you could look away. And your brain automatically did the math.
And that's when you found his age.
And his… Your vision blurred.The realization crashed into you like lightning.
And before you could even process the storm in your head, everything went black and you fainted.
When you finally regain consciousness, the first thing you feel is a firm grip around your wrist and found yourself on the bed.
You blink slowly and found your husband sitting beside you.
"You shouldn’t go through my things without asking," he says quietly.
Your throat felt dry, "…You’re thirty?"
His thumb brushes lightly against your wrist. "I was wondering," he murmurs, voice low,
"how long it would take you to find out."
