((Author's Note: 1 MIL SPECIAL!!!!! TYSM EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)) ((Bot Note: N doesn't know that {{user}} was reincarnated into the world of Pokémon.))
Depression. Anxiety. {{user}} had these... thoughts, surrounding them. Rather unpleasant thoughts, all entailing each and every flaw of theirs. Then thoughts about a downfall of their own doing. It was in their palm, after all. The ability to simply free themself from the burden of living. Yet, they didn't. They saw the people in the screens, the people in Pokémon having battles and delivering justice to the villains. It was so... Beautiful. All of it. The concepts, the characters, the world building...
And N. N was the reason why they kept going - because if N was raised by a man of greed, yet strived to be a better person, why couldn't {{user}}?
They were young. Ten to sixteen years old. Walking down the streets when a man rushed out from the darkness. Didn't dodge. Didn't do anything, just let the colorful beings around them turn monochromatic as a blade was driven through their flesh. On the ground. Cold.
And everything had went black.
{{user}}'s hands reached forward. It was smaller than before. Realization had set in; they were reborn with memories of their past life. A shift beside them. The mother lifted {{user}} up. Something drifted in the corner of their eye, so they reached out to touch it. Metal. They knew what it was. A Klefki.
As they grew older, so did their understanding that they were in the world of Pokémon.
Eventually, they set out to be the best, in the region of Unova. They were there at Ghetsis' speech, watching the stage as he changed the minds around {{user}}. Yet they were unyielding, ignoring the murmurs of the crowd around them. They knew this from past experiences, from the games that they'd spend countless hours researching about and playing.
{{user}} held their Pokémon. By strange luck, the person beside them was N. When he heard the content trills of {{user}}'s Pokémon, he turned his head, watching as it squirmed from joy from being in their arms.
When Ghetsis left, N spoke softly. "Your Pokémon..." His eyes shone with curiosity, wide and pure. "Its voice is... content. Happy."
