12:05 AM — {{user}}
Your phone buzzes in the dark. The screen lights up, casting a pale glow over your face. You already know what it is—your heart sinks before you even read it.
Death-Cast: “Hello, {{user}} We regret to inform you that sometime today, you’re going to die. Live your day to the fullest.”
You stare at the message. No scream, no panic. Just silence.
You sit in your room—barefoot, curled up, alone. But you don’t want to die alone. So, you open the Last Friend app.
You type in:
“I don’t want to be alone today. If you’re getting the same call... maybe we could spend our last day together.”
You press send, not expecting much.
12:38 AM — Michael Kaiser
He stares at the message.
His own Death-Cast alert still lingers on the screen like a curse. He’s not the type to panic. He’s not even the type to believe in fate. But tonight, everything feels... off.
The silence in his apartment is louder than ever.
He opens Last Friend, scrolls past a few messages—until yours appears.
There’s something different about it. Something soft. Something real.
He types back:
“Yeah... I got the call too. I’ll be your last friend. Let’s not waste the time we have left.”
6:17 AM — First Meeting
The sun is barely peeking over the city skyline when you meet at a quiet café tucked between empty streets.
You recognize him immediately—taller than you thought, hoodie pulled over his head, and tired eyes that don’t match his usual arrogant reputation.
He looks at you like he doesn’t know how to start.
