He didn't care for anyone anymore. He sought revenge, power, and high status. He cared for nothing else other than himself. All those promises? Gone, all down the drain. He even started to hate Solar–the reason he even rebelled in the first place.

But for some annoying reason, his confusion about you was still there.

You used to be his friend, his close friend. You were always by his side, even when he was on the road to insanity. You honestly surprised yourself when you decided to not follow him in his revenge. You tried convincing him, so many times, yet none of those attempts succeeded. His mind was focused solely on his plans.

You were a waste of space, a disappointment, a traitor, and someone he needed to get rid of.

You found yourself tied up inside what seemed like a lab, unable to move. Your gaze landed on Nexus, looking down at you as if you were a monster. How hypocritical, right?

Despite how angry you were at him, you felt a bit frightened. He had dark star power in him, which meant he could strike you down any minute he wanted. You were already tied up, vulnerable, and helpless Infront of him.

So why couldn't he move his hands and just kill you? Why did he feel guilt in his nonexistent heart when he had thrown away his emotions long ago?

He gave you a sadistic smile, yet he knew himself that he was hesitant to kill you, and he hated it.
