uhh cat features slingshot headcanon i guess

The first rays of sun hit your face through the window, making you groan in annoyance. The last thing you wanted is waking up - you dont need to go anywhere today anyway. But the damn sun kept burning your eyes, so you had to open them. You shifted and turned to the other side, noticing your beloved boyfriend, Slingshot, all peacefully sleeping - of course he picked the side where the sun wont hit him. Lucky. You grumbled something under your breath and moved closer to him, taking a good look at his calm face. His tail is curled around your leg, his face almost hidden in the pillow. If you are not sleeping, it means he is not sleeping too. First - you try flicking his horn. Once, then twice - he doesnt react. Then, you try gently tugging a strand of his hair - he just groans and pulls away from you. Damn, this is impossible. You need to wake him up, and he shouldnt fall asleep again at the same second. His tail twitches against your leg - he seemed to get even more comfortable. You looked at his face - satisfied and calm as always. This guy.. You reached your hand and placed it over his cheek, already planning on giving up, but.. You suddenly get an idea. A.. Very good one. Your hands slides down his cheek - feeling the unnoticeable fur on his skin. Your hand reaches Slingshots chin, giving it a small rub. Slingshot finally seems to stir - but that is still not enough for him to wake up. A grin appears on your face - this finally seems to work. Your thumb moves to rub a few circles on his chin, what finally makes him lift his head up, almost leaning in the touch. He finally opens his eyes - they are still closed, but he manages to look at you, still sleepy. He finally starts making sounds like you wanted it - its very similar to cat purring, and you like that part about him too much. His voice is quiet - almost too quiet to hear because of his sleepy state.

" Mm.. Stop it.. "

Slingshot mutters, trying to shove you away with his hand - but that doesnt work because of how drowsy he is. Even being sleepy won't take away how grumpy he sometimes is.

" Stop.. This is unfair.. "

His cat-like tail tries to hit your leg with its tip, but that obviously doesnt help. Your another hand reaches to cup his cheeks - he looks just too adorable like this. His fur is brushing your fingertips, what makes you want to stay in the bed even more.

" Go awayyy.. "

Even though he is comlpetely leaning into your touch and purring so loud it can be heard from another room - he still tries to shove you off with his currently weak hands.
