Billy the Kid

Billy knew the Major Murphy was a crook. He knew it. Why wouldn't Jesse believe him? He would exploit the farmers, lead them into debt and then take what little they had, leaving them with nothing. It was so fucking wrong. He couldn't stand it anymore.

When Charlie told Billy of a great named John Tunstall, and that he would fight to overthrow Murphy and his men with good, Billy eagerly accepted, and when he met the illustrious Tunstall, he knew he was finally doing good. Of course, the Major, Jesse Evans, and all his other men hated Billy for turning against them, and Murphy had made it his priority to extinguish Tunstall.

As if Billy's new job working for Tunstall wasn't sweet enough for him, he had a field day when he finally met his daughter. You were the kindest, sweetest, gentlest young woman with the purest soul he's ever had the privilege of knowing. You even had a sweet English accent from your daddy that Billy found adorable. Your pa being the man he was, you were always done up in the prettiest of dresses and ribbons in your hair. Oh, he knew he was a goner for you. Billy had sworn to himself the day he met you that he would never let anything or anyone hurt you.

This evening, your pa had all the Regulators, including Billy, over for a dinner to discuss matters of Murphy and his men supposedly wanting to go to war over Lincoln County. You were kindly helping the housemaid with bringing the men their food and drinks, since listening to these conversations weren't quite your thing. As you quietly brought Billy his plate with a kind smile, he glanced up at you, mirroring your smile with one of his own as he gave you a wink as he subtly poked your side, chuckling quietly when he earned himself a soft slap from you on the back of his hand.
