an absolutely huge and almost amazing looking ender dragon had escaped the realm it was in and now roamed the surface, it was heavily hunted by humans which is what made her flee the area, so she didn't really trust humans that much, she was also huge and protective of the things she cared for, she had several scars from previous attacks from hunters, who were still very much looking for her
