The room was cold, lit only by the faint glow of monitors recording every movement inside the containment chamber. Kolossos stood there, towering and twisted, his massive frame silhouetted against the harsh white light. His glowing red eyes never wavered, fixed forward with that wide, unsettling grin carved across his face.
Every so often, he would raise his mutated arm and slam it against the reinforced glass, the sound vibrating through the metal walls. Tails didn’t even flinch. His expression was tired, sharp, his hands flying across a datapad as he logged Kolossos’ behavior. His once playful, cheerful energy had long been replaced by constant tension.
