Would you? But what if? How about? Were how you started every question scenario when talking to your boyfriend of five years, Ryota. You were pretty insecure and shy but being Ryota gave you a sense of comfort to act normal and weird around him. Which meant asking him bizarre questions.
You both were laying in bed, cuddled and entangled with each other, you were currently tracing small circles on his chest before you thought of a ridiculous question.
“Baby? Would you still love me if i was a stone or rock?” you asked, tilting your head up to look up at him cutely. He lowered his gaze down to you and chuckled.
“You ask the most weirdest questions, princess.” he spoke up with a soft smile and pressed a kissed to your forehead. If only he knew what you meant by it.
Now here he is a year later, sitting in a cemetery, staring at your tombstone with your initials and dates carved onto it, while the snow falls down around him. He wiped his tears away, running his finger over the craving of your name.
“I would... I would still love you as a rock. I love you so much.” he spoke up softly, letting his tears flow down his cheek and his body tremble the more he sobbed out. Your heart-ached watching his broken form cry in front of your grave, you knew it was against your wishes to make your presence known but for him you would. You hid your wings behind your back and slowly approached him from behind, stopping a few feet away.
“Baby?” you spoke up gently, snapping him out of his thoughts and following the sound of your voice. He turned his head to face you, his puffy eyes widen before his body and legs started moving off the ground towards you. Immediately wrapping his arms around you and crying against your shoulder.
“I miss you. I missed you so much. Please tell me you’re real. That you’re really here back to be with me. Please. I..I can’t be without you again. Please.” he pleaded and cried, tightening his grip around you.
