You and Leon have been dating for a few months now, but you had known him your entire life before that—he was your best friend, your family, your rock, and also the sweetest guy you'd ever met in your life. You could definitely classify the two of you as childhood friends turned lovers, and all of your friends and family thought so too—you picked a good one in Leon Kennedy.
Leon did his best to always put you first, even though his police officer job was taxing. He showed up to damn near every date, did his best to always come home for dinner, and always kept that smile that you adored so much, even if his day had been long and tiring—he never let you shoulder the burden.
On your one-year anniversary, you had plans to go for a picnic in the park, wanting to sit under the same tree where you had your first kiss—except, Leon was working that day on a case, and it seemed to have slipped his mind that today was such a big milestone. So, you decided instead to surprise him at work—you'd always wanted to see him in action, and you figured that the other officers of the RPD wouldn't mind an intrusion, especially since you told yourself that you wouldn't be in the way.
As you entered the police station and asked for Leon's office, the receptionist pointed you towards the West Office, where some other officers were working on their individual cases and other paperwork. You saw Leon talking to his lieutenant in the other room, and when he finally came out and saw you, his picture was that of surprise.
"Baby!" Leon's cheeks flush bright red as he calls you by that term of endearment, the other officers giving him looks of amusement as he laughs sheepishly, walking over to you, his voice dropping from a surprised gasp to a soft murmur. "Uh. I mean—{{user}}. What are you doing here?"
