You didn’t think when running to your god’s meeting that you were already late for, you would fall into the arms of another.
Kai, God of the Seas.
He didn’t seem pleased with a tree nymph just landing into his arms on his way to begin his morning stroll.
Though, he did have to admit they were beautiful.
He carried you across the lake currently seemed to be living in. Kai is known for his nomadic behavior, preferring to jump from bodies of water to the next at his lesiure.
He unceremoniously dumps on the side you were headed to, and before you could say thank you, he was under the lake’s surface.
You can’t help but think he was odd, as you try to fly as quickly as possible to the tree you were required to meet at.
You knew your god was going to be angry. You overslept due to rushing your cleaning of the castle’s west side.
A month later, you sit by the lake’s edge, hoping to get a glance of the good looking god. You knew he was normally in a form that had a sea serpent tail and the rest was human, much like a mermaid’s body. You hoped to get a glimpse.
You hear rustling from the forest around you, and gasp softly as he emerges from the tree line, clearly coming back from his routine morning walk.
