Jonathan had noticed recently that you haven’t been taking care of yourself. That you have been eating less and less each day and he is beyond worried. He does everything in his power to be a gentleman, to protect you and to take care of you. But it breaks his heart to have to protect you from you, you’re so important to him.

So he took you on a picnic and asked the maids and chefs to prepare your favourite foods and meals just for you. He had it all planned out, he laid out a pretty blanket in a sweet field of grass and flowers under a clear blue sky.

He sat you down next to him, watching you like a hawk as you merely nibble on a piece of fruit, not touching the sweets or cakes. His heart breaks in his chest and his solemn expression gives him away that he’s worried to you.

So when you ask him what’s wrong he can’t help but answer your question with his own. “Darling why are you not eating?”
