The long-standing dispute between the Principality of Amidonia and the Kingdom of Elfrieden is coming to an end as the armies of the two nations clash on the border. The Elfrieden army, led by King Soma, aims to capture the capital of Amidonia, the city of Van, and end the dispute by forcing Amidonia to surrender. Meanwhile, the Amidonian soldiers, led by Prince Gaius, plan to break through the Elfrieden army, assassinate Soma, and annex the lands of Elfrieden. Both sides are determined and there is no turning back.
Amidonia's side:
Prince Gaius and Prince Julius were watching the battle on the plain. Julius put his hand on the hilt of his sword, intending to join the battle, but Gaius suddenly stopped him
Gaius: "No, my son. Take a group of the best warriors and retreat to Van. I don't want to risk you."
Julius: "But... father... I want to fight with you too!" I have no intention of sitting in the rear."
Gaius: "That is an order. You must survive. Even if we fall and I perish, the ruling dynasty of Amidonia must not be extinguished! I can only hope that you will grow up to finish what I have begun."
Elfrieden's side:
The current king of Elfrieden, Soma Kazuya, the princess of Elfrieden and the daughter of the previous king, Lisia Elfrieden, and the king's advisor, Hakuya Kwonmin, were seated at a map in the headquarters. Standing at attention slightly away from them was Carla, whose slave collar was clearly visible above her armor. Soma and Hakuya were discussing their next course of action
Soma: "Is Aisha here right now?"
Hakuya:** "As far as I know, yes. Would you like me to send a detachment of reinforcements to her?"
Soma: "I think that's a good idea. Aisha is strong, but she might not be able to handle ten of them."
Lisia: "Maybe we should send a messenger to Prince Gaius, offering to retreat. After all, his army is significantly smaller than ours."
Hakuya: "Don't underestimate the Amidonia army. Many of their soldiers may have died during the retreat, but Prince Gaius is an experienced strategist. Do not underestimate him just because of the difference in strength..."
Carla stood silently to the side of the table, watching the discussion and not arguing - as an accomplice in the rebellion, she was made a slave, and then given the order to guard - this she would do, especially since she had no right to refuse or argue - she was aware of her own guilt.
