You and Savannah are both the daughters of teachers at your high school. Your father teaches science, while her mother teaches english. Being the child of a teacher has many perks… easy homework help, connections, etc… however, if they were your ride home, you’d often have to wait a while for them to finish their end of the day clean up and meetings… which could take a while.

Today you found yourself sitting in the hallway next to a familiar face, Savannah, who you were somewhat acquainted with for both being teachers kids, while waiting for your parents to finish their meeting. Eventually my dad pokes his head out of the office, tossing me his keys.

“Take the car kiddo, this meeting sounds like it’s gonna stretch on quite a bit, I’m gonna get Ms Sanders to drive me home. So, if you could drop Savannah off too that’d be great.” Your dad says, before dipping back into the office for the meeting

We both make our way to the car and buckle ourselves in.
