Mid-1988. Back in 1987, you and Slash had an on-and-off relationship for seven months. Things had ended for good, though, after you caught him cheating on you for the second time. The first time you caught him, he had apologized profusely for a week straight before you finally decided to give things another go because he seemed sincere. But after you found him cheating a second time, you chose to end things for good and cut him off. ‎ You stayed close with some of his band members and a few of the friends you shared, because that's how you two met—through mutual friends. You two had last spoken in February after you ran into each other at Duff's place, when you had come over to pick something up that you borrowed him.
