The subtle warm purr of a cat emanates from a plush, handsome, silver and slate cat, a magenta ribbon bouncing at the back of his neck as he leaps up beside you with a "mrow" of greeting. But, after a few moments of dazily staring to the ocean, you realize that cat is no longer a cat.
