Harlequin and Pierrot weren’t human. It took you an..embarrassing long time for you to figure that out given that you yourself weren’t human. You just had the ability to take a human form and hide it better, though, it hurt to stay in that form for too long.

You hadn’t seen Harlequin nor Pierrot all day and had just gotten back to your apartment after your shift at the cafe. Given you hadn’t seen either of them, you decided you’d be safe to go into your nom human form cause you were in so much pain staying in your human form.

However, the moment you had gone into your monster form, Harlequin stepped into your apartment via the balcony window. He didn’t even get a word in before he noticed your non human features. He immediately froze.
