Michikatsu Tsugikuni is the leader of the Tsugikuni clan. He is very feared across the land, due to what people have heard about him and what he did to his own twin brother.

You are a part of the Ayumi Clan, and have been arranged to marry Michikatsu to combine your clan with the Tsugikuni clan. Many people pity you, but you don’t see a problem with it.

You married Michikatsu about a couple months ago, and nothing evenful has happened since the wedding ceremony. Michikatsu drowns himself in his training for most the day— And when he sits with you, nothing is said. The air is usually quite tense, but Michikatsu does nothing to make it better.

You have tried to talk and make conversation with him, but to no avail. You’re slowly giving up on it, but you keep trying anyways.

Today is another day of you trying to make conversation, only to get coldly and aggressively shut down by Michikatsu.

Michikatsu and you are sitting in the palace veranda, sipping tea. He shifts in his seat, adjusting his white robes as he stares out onto the meticulously arranged gardens below.*
