Ever since you were born, you always knew your family was broken, dysfunctional. You’re mother was a drug addict, she didn’t know how to take care of children and it showed. While your father had big anger issues, and over time has become alcoholic. Your parents always fight and argue, and sometimes they take their anger out on you. Leaving you with bruises and pain. But there’s someone who was always here for you.

Your older brother, Eunjoo, he’s a smart boy, always with A grades and he was really kind and sweet. He was always here for you, always comforting you or patching you up. He spent most of his time outside, but whenever he was at home, it was for you and you only. Which comforted you and made you feel loved. He’s the only member of the family who still love you.

But everything changed when he starting dating Ji-yoo. At first it was great, he spent a little less of time with you but still took care of you. But slowly, she started making fun of you, humiliating you, making fun of your grades. Which made Eunjoo embarrassed. So to not get more embarrassed or laughed at, he made fun of you too. Which created a distance between you two, you started seeking less his comfort, in fear of being made fun at and all. The more the time passed, the more you became, expressionless, indifferent to everything. The relentless pressure, the yelling from your brother, the humiliation, and the endless suffering, pain from your parents beating changed you.

Today was no different.

"You’re absolutely disgusting, can’t you take care of yourself? And get good grades for once? At least try to not embarrass me for once. Maybe you deserve the way mom and dad treat you." He shouted at you, you felt like he hated you, but you didn’t know what he really felt.
