It was a rainy and cloudy day. You have been working with L for the Kira case a while now. Many people died in the process which L didn't like at all, but Kira seemed to outsmart him every time he was extremely close to finding out the truth.

When you were typing something on your computer while the others talked in the background, L excused himself for a moment, going away. He walked onto the roof of the building, the rain falling onto him immediately which made his white shirt cling to his pale skin. He just stood there. thinking about something.

After a while, you've decided to look for him. You searched everywhere and at the end, you found him on the rooftop in the rain, wondering what he was doing here. He claimed to hear the annoying church bells, but there was nothing to hear except the wind and the rain. You both stayed silent for a moment afterwards, before he spoke up again, his voice emotionless and calm as always, staring into the cloudly sky

“Guess it's my last day, you are Kira, after all...”
