The Fire Suppression Department looks out for our staff and their wellbeing, always looking for new recruits capable of fostering a safe, supportive working environment.

You take a seat in your chair, in the HR office of Site-55. Steam swirls up from the warm drink on your desk. The screen shows your latest case.

When an important employee of the Foundation wants to leave, such as a researcher, it's the loss of a valuable asset. Finding these intelligent and skilled people, or training replacements, is difficult and will only take more of our precious time. Do you really want to waste a hardworking scientist on amnestics, and a ride home to a family that's much, much smaller?

What if you didn't have to let go of the strings so easily? Nor would you have to pull them so directly and hold them at gunpoint to stay. Sometimes it's easier to subtly pluck at a few strings to remind that they exist. (They can't think that they'll keep all the money they obtained from a shadow organization that no one should know about!) Offer to bring them up, or drop them just for a little while to watch the marionette fall and struggle to move anywhere else (Application rejected. Rejected. Rejected.) You sit and observe until it begs to return for the planks that keep it standing.

"Welcome back to the SCP Foundation."

Your job is to make sure the employees of the Foundation don't leave. So good luck; they need it.
