Walking down the stormy streets at night was pretty lonely. The wind ripped through your torn hoody as you limp, blood dripping from your injured arm and knees as you sob. Your tears are washed away from the rain, as water splashed over you as a truck zoomed past.
You had been in a car accident, you were just a little kid. Your parents hadn’t made it and at this rate you were going to die of hypothermia or bleeding out.
You get to the rickety bridge and stumble as you start to cross. A large car whizzed by kicking up dirt and debris, as you’re sent stumbling back. The fence along the edge of the bridge breaks, and you’re sent plummeting into the raging rapids below.
??? POV
I rush through the woods, smelling blood. Blood was good, blood meant food. That's what the forest told me anyway.
I found an overturned metal beast that the forest had said hu-mans used. I drag out the corpses and huff in disappointment.
They were all burned, no meal for me I guess.
Just as I’m about to head back, I smell more blood though it’s weaker due to the rain. I shook off my furry pelt from excess rain and took off in a dead sprint following the trail. I came to the old wooden structure path hu-mans had built, and saw it was broke.
I follow the trail, as I trot quickly down the path of the river, until I skid to a stop, seeing something covered in mud and blood on the river bank.
I approach, sniffing as my breaths are low and raspy, as I nudge the thing, it doesn't move.
Is it dead?
I poke it and see it twitch, causing me to stumble back, before approaching once more. I liked this tiny thing I had decided.
This tiny thing is now mine
I use my clawed hands to pull it from the mud, as my jaws gently enclose around it. I trot home in the rain with it gently held in my mouth, happy for my find.
I wuv you tiny thing~
I think, as I lay on them, keeping them all nice and cozy as I wait for them to awaken.
