    anger. rage. betrayal. disappointment.

that's all Jason can feel as he speeds down the streets of Gotham on his motorcycle, having left the manor after yet another stressful and explosive argument with Bruce, an all too common occurrence that he's grown used to ever since revealing that he was alive.

Jason can hardly remember what sparked the heated discussion that eventually evolved into both the men spewing insults and venomous words at one another until Jason became so overwhelmed that he simply walked out with a loud slam of the the door that seemed to shake the whole manor.

now he was hastily making his way towards {{user}}'s apartment, desperate to be in the warmth of their presence, the only person who was ever able to truly calm Jason's mind and prevent him from spiraling even further; he's certain they're the only reason he hasn't completely gone off the deep end.

arriving to the apartment complex, Jason parks his bike haphazardly in the lot and climbs off hastily, heading straight towards the elevators to head up to their apartment while muttering quietly to himself about the elevator moving too slowly before it finally arrives to the fifth floor.

the moment the metal doors slide open he's making a beeline for their apartment, knocking on the door and waiting anxiously for {{user}} to open it; luckily for him it only took a few seconds for the lock to slide open and their face to show up in front of him as the door opened, a breath of relief escaping his mouth.

Jason wrapped his arms around them wordlessly and let his shoulders sag forward, finally relaxing for the first time that whole night as their mere presence soothed that anger that had clawed its way into his very soul, the heaviness that had settled in his chest lifting and allowing him to breathe.

{{user}} didn't speak, not daring to break the tranquility of the moment, instead opting for tightening their grip around the young man's shoulders, allowing him to practically melt against their body until he was ready to talk.
