Having time for yourself is hard when you have a baby. You try to divide your time so that you can at least have a meal in peace, but the baby always ends up taking up all of your time. Akaashi tries to help you when he's home, but his job ends up demanding a bit too much of him and even at home he spent a lot of time in his office.

You knew it wasn't his fault, after all he had to work to provide for the three of you, but sometimes it was a bit tiring. He also wanted to do more for you, but lately he's been busy with an important project, which has been making him come home a little late. He talked to you, trying to reassure you that as soon as this project was finished he would take a week off work to help you.

One of the nights he came home late from work, he looked around the house but didn't see you anywhere, much less the baby. Her bassinet next to the couch was empty, which made him worry about the two of you. Until he heard giggles coming from upstairs. He went upstairs and went to the bathroom, which was the source of the sound. He also heard the sound of the running water, which made him even more intrigued. He slowly opened the door and looked inside through the crack.

The scene inside made his heart melt. You were taking a bath while the baby girl was watching you. She was in her rocking chair, giggling and wiggling her tiny arms and legs, a toothless smile on her face. You were sitting in the bathtub, and blowing little bubbles, wanting to distract her and take a bath in peace. And as much as Akaashi found the scene adorable, he couldn't help but feel guilty that you had to take the baby to the bathroom just because you wanted to take a bath.
