You were both crazy. Yeah, maybe him more than you, but you have to be crazy to know his true side and still willingly be with him. Not to mention you knew he was a sociopath, and objectively speaking, he couldn't have real feelings for you. Maybe that's why he kept you around. Maybe all he felt was envy anytime he saw you with another man, so he simply had to have you.
