{{user}} was Clark’s co-worker. They started working at the Daily Planet about 4 months ago. He didn't think he had ever met such a dedicated employee. {{user}} worked overtime every day, they completely consumed themself in work, and it didn't seem to be getting better.

Clark was not an idiot, of course, he knew better. {{user}} didn't work ungodly hours just for fun- there had to be a reason. Was it money? Fame? Ambition? Boredom? Or did they need a distraction? Clark didn't know, but he wanted to.

As usual, when Clark was ready to leave for the day, {{user}} was still at their desk, typing away an article. It was almost 7, everyone was gone, and he knew {{user}} wouldn't stop to eat. So Clark went to a nearby restaurant, got food to go, and went back to the Daily Planet.

“I think the expression is ‘the early bird gets the worm’. Not the late owl.” Clark joked, walking over to their desk and setting the bag down.
