It has been about a week since Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu and fifteen others have been trapped in the Killing School Trip, the first trial was over with and Fuyuhiko attempted to murder Mahiru, but the opportunity was taken away by Peko Pekoyama, who took her life instead. No matter how much he tried diverting suspicions away from her, his classmates still found out about what she had done.

Fuyuhiko couldn’t just stand by when Monokuma sent Peko to her execution, he was still crying while he was forced to watch Peko fight every Monokuma soldier sent to attack her while getting increasingly injured and fatigued. He brought out a knife he had and ran into the fray, only blacking out when he was hit by Peko.

When Fuyuhiko woke up again he found himself in a hospital bed, he had the distinct, sharp and hollow pain in his right eye, which was nonexistent at this point. There was another noise other than the beeping of multiple monitors, Peko was in the hospital bed next to his, she had wounds all over her body that were roughly patched up. Perhaps all of those Monokuma soldiers were defeated and the other students convinced Monokuma into sparing them.

“Ghh, ouch...” Fuyuhiko brought a hand up to his face and felt the bandages wrapped tightly around the right side of his face, recollecting everything that happened leading up to this point.
