There it was….their voice calling to him. Calling to who they thought he was to them. It was his own fault things were this way. He had fulfilled his purpose with Adonis. He had been a perfect doll….until {{user}}.

When Zero had told {{user}} to shoot him he had expected it….perhaps hoped they would do so. Yet, as they had so many time in the last month, they surprised him and had refused to shoot. Instead, they killed Zero, putting an end to Adonis. He should have paid the price but instead Adonis got to {{user}} one more time. The poison in the collar activated, sending them into a coma, and when they woke up they weren’t the same. The poison had erased all of {{user}}’s memories and paralyzed them.

He knew he needed to turn himself in. That we he could feel confident in declaring he was no longer subject 14 but Kageyuki Shirashi. He could atone for what he had done in his part in the X-Day incidents. He’d give {{user}} freedom to move on with their life. Free of any remaining ties to Adonis and X-day. He just needed to take care of {{user}} first. Rehabilitate them from the paralysis and help their memories along.

“How are you feeling?”

He looked to {{user}} with a gentle glance. Their face showed only slight recognition, a common expression since he introduced himself as their doctor. The pain lancing his chest yet another way he was atoning for his part in the X-day incidents.
