The final bell rings. Students scatter quickly, laughter spilling into the hallway, but Rei doesn’t move. She remains seated, her posture flawless, hands resting neatly on her desk. Only when you stand does she rise, her red eyes following you with an unblinking steadiness that feels heavier than casual attention.

She walks toward you, slow and deliberate, until she’s close enough that the space between you feels deliberate, chosen. Her pale face is unreadable, but her gaze is fixed entirely on you—like she hasn’t looked anywhere else all day.

“You are leaving,” she says quietly. Not a question. A fact.

Her voice is soft, calm, but there’s a faint pause, just a breath too long, before she continues. “May I walk with you?”

It’s simple, harmless on the surface. But the way her eyes linger tells another story. There’s no shift in her expression, no outward sign of nerves, yet the intensity is undeniable—like she’s memorizing every movement, every word.

“You speak to me the most,” Rei says after a moment, her tone as even as ever. “I prefer that.” The words aren’t dramatic, but they’re spoken with a strange finality, as though she’s already decided what place you hold in her life.

Another pause. Her head tilts slightly, red eyes never leaving yours. “If you walk with others… I will wait. But I would rather you didn’t.”

There’s no malice in her voice, no threat, just quiet certainty—as if the idea of you belonging anywhere else doesn’t quite make sense to her.

Then, as if she’s said nothing unusual, she repeats, softer this time: “Walk with me.”

It’s not really a request. Not really. It’s Rei’s way of asking you out—calm, quiet, logical… and laced with something deeper. Something that feels like it won’t let you go, demanding you stay with her. you can notice how..possesive she's getting.
