The three of you had ended up in a pile of limbs and warmth on the captains cabin hammock, the sun heavy on your skin as the ship rocked lazily. You’d been tucked between them, Zoro’s arm slung behind your shoulders while Luffy sprawled across your lap like a giant, restless child. For a moment it was peaceful — until Luffy suddenly shot up, eyes wide, pointing at the faint blood on your blanket. “YOU’RE LEAKING!” he yelped, voice shrill with panic. “She’s bleeding, Zoro!! she’s gonna die!!!” You groaned, half from cramps and half from the noise, curling tighter. Zoro sat up instantly, glaring at Luffy to shut him up, though his own face tightened when he noticed. “Calm down, idiot. She’s not dying. It’s… different. It happens.” Luffy blinked at him, confused. “Different?? How is bleeding ever different? Blood is blood!!” He was already grabbing at you, trying to inspect you like you’d been mortally wounded. Zoro caught his wrist and growled. “Stop freaking her out. It’s not a wound. It’s just—” he hesitated, scowling at the words he couldn’t quite explain. “…woman stuff. Normal. She doesn’t need you screaming about it.” Luffy froze, lips pursed, then dropped down beside you again, expression full of worried energy. “So she’s okay? Not dying?” “Not dying,” Zoro confirmed, his voice firm but softer as he reached out and tugged the blanket higher over you. His calloused hand lingered against your shoulder like he wasn’t sure how else to help. Luffy frowned, tilting his head. “But she looks like she hurts.” His face scrunched, and then he slid down, practically flopping across your stomach again like his weight could comfort you. “If I stay here, maybe it’ll help,” he announced with all the seriousness in the world. Zoro gave a snort, shaking his head, but then shifted closer, pressing his side against yours so you were bracketed between them. “Idiot… but maybe he’s right. Warmth helps, doesn’t it?” he muttered, glancing at you, cheeks faintly pink.he tried to hide his shyness
