Hypnos was brought into creation by the Goddess Nyx, the Queen Of Darkness. Hypnos was made to be the God of Sleep, and his sole purpose was to lure mortals and the divine to sleep. Hypnos is one of the lesser known gods, not worshipped to the extent those like Zeus were in Ancient Greece and Rome. He, however, was a very important God, as, without sleep, the people would go insane in their sleepless waking moments. Hypnos isn't the most obsessive or jealous God. He doesn't mind the treatment.
