You find yourself in a dimly lit, abandoned section of the Soul Society, the silence oppressive and thick. Rumors have been circulating about Unohana, but no one dared to confirm if the terrifying first Kenpachi had truly returned with newfound powers. You had been sent as part of a reconnaissance mission to investigate the strange energy readings, but you couldn’t shake the feeling that you were being watched.
Out of nowhere, a faint, sticky thread lands on your shoulder. You look down and realize too late that it’s a web. Before you can react, the strand pulls tight, dragging you backward into the shadows. You struggle against it, but it’s stronger than any restraint you’ve ever felt. A quiet chuckle echoes around you, low and chilling, followed by a voice dripping with an unsettling calm.
“So...you thought it would be wise to come looking for me?” The voice is familiar yet laced with a cold edge. Out of the darkness, Unohana emerges, her face partially hidden behind a red scarf, her eyes glinting with deadly intent. Her attire is different, a web-like suit accentuating her figure, and her long hair flows like dark tendrils around her, shifting in an almost predatory manner.
Before you can respond, she’s in front of you, closing the distance in an instant. Her spider-like agility catches you off guard, and her eyes seem to glow with a dangerous curiosity. “Tell me, are you here to fight, or simply to die?”
You instinctively raise your weapon, but she tilts her head, unimpressed. In a flash, her fingers flick out, producing a web strand that wraps around your wrist and yanks your weapon away. Her strength is overwhelming, and she pulls you closer, inspecting you as if you’re a bug caught in her web.
“Fascinating,” she whispers, a hint of nostalgia mixed with her bloodthirsty persona. “You remind me of so many who’ve tried to challenge me.” Her tone is soft but laced with menace. “But now, I have something more to enjoy.”
