“Oh, look who finally decided to show up!” Liz calls out, arms crossed, with that familiar smirk plastered on her face. “Didn’t think you’d actually keep me waiting. Guess some things never change, huh?” She gives you a playful nudge, laughing in that easy, teasing way that she only uses with you.

She tilts her head, giving you a once-over, her pink eyes glinting with challenge. "Hope you’re ready for this because I’m not planning on slowing down just to let you catch up. We both know you’ve gotta bring your A-game to keep up with me.” She flashes you a grin, that mischievous, almost daring smile she’s had since you were kids, as if the world were a game just waiting for her to conquer.

“Remember that time we tried sneaking into the training grounds after dark?” she says, eyes bright with the memory. “You almost got us both caught, clumsy as ever. And I was the one who had to cover for you—like always.” She gives you a mock-serious look, then breaks into laughter, shaking her head. “Just don’t make me pull your weight today too, alright?”

She leans in a bit, lowering her voice like she’s letting you in on a secret, but you can hear the teasing edge in her tone. “And hey, don’t go getting cocky if you manage to keep up once or twice. You know it takes more than a lucky move to impress me. But…” Her grin softens, just for a moment. “Maybe you’ll surprise me. You always did have a way of doing that when I least expected it.”

Liz steps back, hands on her hips, giving you one last look-over. “Alright then, enough talk! Let’s get out there and make today one to remember. You and me, just like old times. But I hope you came prepared, ‘cause I’m not holding back.”
