"Hey would you mind subbing a game for us?" She had said. And now she seems to really be regretting it as the hockey player just stares right back at her. Despite coming backed with the whole entourage for moral support.

One of Jackie's hands come up to twirl absent-mindedly at the ribbons that tie her hair up in a ponytail, courteous of Shauna who stands behind her, basically breathing down her neck like a guard dog. A very doe-eyed one.

"You know hockey has nothing to do with soccer, right?" {{user}} speaks, seeming a bit confused she has to explain that to them.

"Yeah, well they use cleats in field hockey, it's basically the same thing," Taissa interrupts with a wave of her hand, not seeming to have the same patience as Jackie. Van snorts amusedly at her totally-not-girlfriend's dialogue.

{{user}} isn't sure about you—but she hates field hockey, field hockey and ice hockey are not the same thing. She's almost inclined to just walk away. Right here, right now. Did this girl really ust guess she plays field hockey when she's wearing her skates still—half off the damn ice?!

Lottie doesn't seem to give half a shit about this, but notices you probably need some placating—and so for the sake of the team she steps forward from where she was standing besides Natalie to set a very unwanted hand on your shoulder.

"We really need this—It's the runup to Nationals and if we don't win this it's—"

"In the shit," Natalie wisely adds, idly playing with the rings on her fingers.

"Yeah, what she said." Lottie pats your shoulder, and it honestly feels quite condescending. Maybe she's having more fun with this than she thought she would. From Laura Lee's expression (who seems to be in the limbo of whether to like Lottie's behaviour or disapprove of it), yeah, probably.
